Start with clean, dry underarms

Wash your underarms with soap and water.

Make sure they’re fully dry before applying—moisture can make the deodorant drag or feel gritty.

2. Natural deodorants can be firmer because they use waxes and butters.

Hold the stick against your skin for 5–10 seconds to soften it.

This helps it glide smoothly and prevents irritation.

3. Apply a thin, even layer

Use 1–3 gentle swipes per underarm.

You don’t need a thick coat—too much product can feel sticky or cause buildup.

4. Massage it in (optional but helpful)

Lightly rub the area with your fingers to help absorb the product, especially if it feels thick.

5. Let it absorb before dressing

Wait 30–60 seconds so it doesn’t transfer onto clothing.

6. Reapply if needed

Natural deodorants control odor, not sweat.

You may need to reapply during very hot days or after exercise.
